Aries was a docked and cropped red male that came into my life as a senior yet he still had a lot to teach me.  He had wobblers towards the end and would still go for daily walks in his cart, and anytime he was in the front yard sunning himself, he would make a mad dash for the back seat of the car, because if the car left the driveway, it must be going to the drive thru, right?

He had been with my other half since he was 8 weeks old, but I think I learned more in the 2 yrs I had with him than anyone could ever learn from a dog.  

He is the reason that I decided to start Aries Doberman Liberation Rescue. We decided that we wanted to make sure that all Dobermans had the opportunity to know the love he knew and could learn the life lessons we learned from him. We stick to rescuing only Dobermans because this is the breed we know. Between the two of us, we have almost 20 years experience with the breed.
